nice setup nice balance of light.. although, in my opinion I would cropped it bit more off (like camera right side bring the frame closer to her hands and the top frame bring it down to her forehead right above to her eyebrow) perhaps:)

thanks. You are probably right. I will leave it for others to see it and comment some more, and then crop it differently and post that one.

thanks again!
Lovely shot

Agree about the crop closer to her hands..
it looks like the source of light was above her...it kind of gives a raccoon eye effect. the shadows.

you should take a reflector or a light panel with you. you would be suprised what it will do for your subjects eyes.

Yes, I agree with Melissah. The shadows on her face make it seem like she's frowning. I also agree with tomasito about cropping it to the right, but I'm not sure about bringing the top down. It seems to me that unless you crop off more parts of her body, it would just look like you accidentally cut off the top of her head.
Of course, I typically have issues with cropping into the facial area unless it's an extreme close up, so that might just be my own bias talking.
Otherwise, good job. I like the positioning, especially the hands.

~Lyn, ever after
